Why does the author aver that the growth of world population is one of the strongest factors distorting the future of human society?
Definitely, the growth of world’s population is one of the strongest factors distorting the future of human society. In today’s era where human needs are increasing alarmingly due to increase in population. So due to this factor the earth’s biological system is being depleted at large extent which are also affecting the human society. This factor has resulted in too much pressure on natural resources. The forests are being cut to satisfy human needs for more place and other essentials. These more demands leads to over fishing, the burning fuels has reduced the fertility of soil. So we have to follow the concept of Sustainable Development so that these resources should also be available for or next generations. So more strict laws and rules should be implemented for control of human population, if we don’t do these things then definitely all the resources will be extinct soon.
