    1. Measuring land and keeping records. The Patwari updates and maintains the record of the village. The map and the corresponding details from the register on the next page are a small part of the records that are kept by the Patwari.
    2. Collection of the land revenue from the farmers and providing the information to the government about the crops grown in this area.

    The work of Tehsildar includes:

    1. They have to hear disputes.
    2. They supervise the work of Patwari and makes sure that records are properly kept and land revenue is collected.

The boy child always gets everything but girls are always treated unequally and has to fight for their own rights. They only get anything in the form of Dowry which is eventually given to her husband.

    Hence, yes, I think that it is an important matter or issue because a daughter is trying to raise issue about equality. The daughters are not given equal rights. They only get anything only after their marriage, expecting by her husband. Everything is given to her brother and after marriage to her husband. Even she is not given a small share of her house also.
