MOMA Scholarships are minority scholarships by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Moma Scholarship Scheme is responsible for the upliftment of the minority students. The winning students will get the reward of Rs. 20,000 per annum. The Government distributes 30 lacs scholarship for pre-matric, 5 lacs for post-matric, and 60,000 for merit-cum-means scholarship.

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities

1. Candidate must be a student of class 1st to 10th.

2. Students must have scored have at least 50% marks in the previous final exam.

The family income should be less than 1 lac per annum.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities

1. Students of class 11th and 12th can apply.

2. Students who have taken admission in technical and vocational courses in ITI/Industrial Training Centres affiliated with NCVT (at class 11 & 12 levels) can also apply.

3. Students who are pursuing Polytechnics and other courses are also eligible to apply.

4. Students must have scored at least 50% marks in the previous final exam.

The annual family income must not be more than INR 2 Lacs.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

1. Students who have taken admission in technical/professional courses at the graduate or postgraduate level are eligible to apply.

2. Students must have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final exam.

The family income must not exceed INR 2.5 lacs. Per annum.

Terms and Conditions for MOMA Scholarships

  • 30% of the scholarships are reserved for the girl students.

  • In the case of limited female candidates, the scholarship will be transferred to the male candidates.

  • Only 2 students from a family will receive the scholarship.

  • The attendance of the students in the class should be regular.

  • If any case of indiscipline is reported, the scholarship will be canceled.

  • The scholarship will be canceled if any of the information in the application form is found incorrect.

  • The scholarship amount will be sent directly to the student’s account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
