Media “setting an agenda” has an effect on democracy. By focusing on a issue our beliefs and views are influenced by the media. Media awares us about few illegal activities taking place in the society and makes the government take strict action against the same. Sometimes due to pressure of government or forced by big business houses, the balance is not maintained.
