Aqueous chamber are filled with a clear, watery fluid called the aqueous humor which is secreted by the ciliary processes of the ciliary body. Cornea is transparent, circular and fully visible from the infront. It lacks blood vessels. Lens It is a solid but body is elastic, lies just behind the iris. It consists of a transparent, laminated fibrous tissue and is enclosed in a thin, transparent and elastic membrane etc. Retina is very delicate coat and line the whole of the vascular coat. Vitreous chamber is full of thick, transparent, jelly like substance, the vitreous humor. Blind spot lies little away from the yellow spot, contains no pigment, lacks visual receptors and is insensitive to light. No image is formed at this place.
