An Herbarium is an collection of pressed, dried and preserved plants mounted on paper sheets, properly labelled, systematically arranged and available for references or study. Steps for preparing Herbarium sheets:
Tools which are needed while collecting plants for the preparation are digger and pouring knife, sickle, vasculum, polythene bags, old newspaper or magazine blotting paper, plant press, field notebooks, herbarium sheets, glue, labels etc. These herbarium sheets provide information include the names of division, order, family, genus and species.
