Carbon dioxide sources are smoking, burning, decay or vehicles etc. carbon dioxide shows some effects like nausea, headache, warming in the atmosphere etc. There are some measures to control the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere and these are following:
1. Take the public transport instead of using personal vehicles because it leads to the air pollution.
2. We should use CNG or clean fuel instead of using petrol or diesel because petrol or diesel released some harmful gases that pollute the environment and CNG is cheaper than petrol and diesel; and it produces less amount of pollution.
Example:- In Delhi, vehicles have been the major sources of the air pollution. Then some measures are given to control the air pollution, use of CNG is one of them measures. Delhi is the only city in the world that uses CNG as the local transport system.
3. Burning produces very foul smell that reaches our lungs by the inhalation process which cause some diseases and also cause air pollution. That’s why we should prepare manure (animal dung used for fertilization land) from the garbage or the waste instead of burning them.
4. Afforestion (planting the trees) is the main measure to control the carbon dioxide level in the environment.
