The birth control methods which deliberately prevent fertilization are known as contraception. Contraceptive methods should be user- friendly, easily available, effective and with no side effects. There are various contraceptive methods to prevent fertilization or pregnancy and for the birth control are following:-
Permanent Method or surgical method:- This surgery can occur in both male and female, known as Vasectomy in males and Tubectomy in females. Their operation is very minor and performed by giving low dose or local anesthesia. It involves the removal of the short segment of fallopian tubes in females and vas deferens in males and the remaining ends are tied up tightly with the surgical thread. Thus prevents fertilization by re- absorption of sperms into the body.
