a) Size of the organisms does not depend on the number of chromosomes.

c) Chromosomes are thread-like structures located inside the nucleus of the cell of plants and animals. Chromosomes are made up of proteins and single molecules of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). Hence the more the number of chromosomes the greater the DNA content.
