2025 Kho Kho world Championship, concluded in Delhi on 19 January with India winning women’s world titles.At the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday, winning the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup made history by Indian women’s team. A large audience at the stadium cheered when India hit arch-rivals Nepal 78-40 in a mainly one-sided match.
The Indian team’s standout players on the momentous day were Anshu Kumari and Chaithra, who were instrumental in their overwhelming victory over Nepal.
On their way to success, India defeated South Korea, Iran, and Malaysia in the group stages. They then defeated Bangladesh in the quarterfinals and defeated South Africa smoothly in the semi-finals.
