The Indian national mathematical Olympiad is a national-level examination held all over the country every year. It is conducted by the HomiBhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE) for classes 6th – 12th.

It is a mathematics-based examination for secondary-stage students. It is considered one of the competitive Exams with many participants. Eligibility Criteria For The INMO ( Indian national Mathematical Olympiad)

• The participants should be eligible to give the INMO after the qualification at the regional level.
• It is one of the most competitive due to its margins in the age of candidates. Only students who are 28 years old can give the examination.
• All the students are compared to each other entirely based on their prior basic-level examinations. Therefore, before qualifying for the INMO, the candidates should have separately allowed the PRMO(pre-regional mathematical Olympiad) and RMO( Regional Mathematical Olympiad).
• Every school or region can send 28 students to classes 8 – 12.
• Many students give exams, but only six most the top students can represent India in the international Olympiad exam. 

EXAM PATTERN OF INMO (INDIAN NATIONAL MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD)

1. The Indian national mathematical examination is held every year in February.
2. The selected students are provided training in IMOTC( international mathematical olympiad training camp).
3. The students are provided with 4 hours, and after completing all the questions, students can submit their answer sheets with their rough work.
4. It is a highly complicated exam with many questions; once students qualify for the exam, they’re provided with all basic training by (HBCSE).

• Students should be in for the student that the INMO  doesn’t have a separate registration. Therefore, given cannot take direct participation in the examination, and they have to qualify for the zonal and regional analysis to be a part of the examination.
