IBO (INTERNATIONAL BIOLOGY OLYMPIAD)

The international biology olympiad is held all over the globe annually. It is conducted for the students of classes 11th and 12th. It is held in all the nations, and every country sends almost the five best students in the international examination. First, students must clear the essential examinations such as zonal, state, national, and international. Later, students are qualified to give exams on the international stage. This examination is an excellent platform for students who want to determine and empower their ability in the field of biology. • The IBO question paper is considered one of the most rigorous examinations.
  • The question paper comprises both theoretical and practical content. Each section covers 50% of weightage.
  • The theoretical section consists of cell biology, molecular biology, plant anatomy and physiology, animal anatomy and physiology, genetics and evolution, ecology, and biosystematics.
  • The practical section consists of the topics- of science process skills, physical skills, biological methods, physical and chemical methods, microbiological methods, and statistical methods. The participants are ranked according to their scores, and the best students are served with scholarships, awards, certificates, etc.
